Listen up, Rock Stars! The reserved seating selection process for the 2025 cruise will begin soon, and based on the awesome feedback we received during and after the 2024 sailing, we are making some changes to ensure a smooth selection process AND an enjoyable onboard experience. So, here’s the dealio.
Selection Schedule
The reserved seat selection process is based on when your 2025 reservation was made; the earlier you booked, the earlier your selection window! To ensure a manageable number of guests are online at one time and don’t overload our Commodore 64, only 100 reservations will be allowed to select their seats at any given time.
Your selection window will open at your designated time and will remain open until 10/31.

Theater Etiquette
While we want all our guests to rock out at every show and have a totally awesome time, we ask that you respect others around you.
Keep Your Seat – Guests who qualify and select their reserved seat are entitled to keep their seat throughout the entirety of the main show. Guests that do not have reserved seating will be informed of this new rule and will be asked to move if seated in a seat marked as RESERVED.
Talking During Shows – Yes, we all saw that hilarious costume or heard that “really good” karaoke earlier in the day, but when it comes to sharing your #onlyonthe80scruise stories, please refrain from doing so during the performances. This rule also applies to those grabbing drinks in the back of the theater as well! Guests who continue to disrupt the experience of others around them will be asked to leave the theater.
Rushing The Stage – Look, it’s a concert, we get it, but the safety of our guests is a top priority. Rushing the stage will be strictly prohibited and extra security will be in place to enforce this rule. Dancing like Ren McCormick and having a good time is entirely acceptable and encouraged, but we ask that you remain close to your seat, not obstruct the view of others, and don’t act like a Biff Tannen.
Attending Both Shows – It’s no lie, The 80s Cruise puts on top notch concerts all week long. As past guests, you know we split each show into two performances, so EVERY guest can see these incredible shows. Guests with BLUE SeaPass Cards will attend the early/1st Main Show (starting around 6:30 PM) and guests with RED SeaPass Cards will attend the late/2nd Main Show (starting around 9:00 PM). Guests are required to adhere to their Main Show Time and will NOT be allowed into other shows. SeaPass Cards will be checked prior to entering the Main Theater.
Recording and Flash Photography – We know you want to make your friends at home jealous of the awesome concerts you saw, but please put down the Camcorder and watch the show! We have photographers onboard taking pictures to make available to you after the cruise. Plus, did you ever record a concert on your cell phone in the 80s?
How Do I Select My Seats?
- Review the map of the Royal Theater to familiarize yourself with the layout.
- Prior to your selection window, log into your 80s Cruise account – it is recommended that you log in no more than 2-3 minutes before the selection window opens. Logging in too early may cause your session to time out. Do not have your account open in multiple windows.
- Click SELECT SHOW SEATS.
- Click ADD 1st SHOW/2nd SHOW RESERVED SEATING BUTTON found at the bottom of the screen.
- At 10:00 AM CENTRAL TIME (NO EARLIER) enter the token that will be emailed to you one hour prior to your select window and click SUBMIT.
- Select your preferred section of the theater – Lower Orchestra, Upper Orchestra, or Balcony.
- Select the seat(s) you wish to reserve – you must select contiguous seats.
- Select ADD TO RESERVATION and you are finished!
Don’t forget to hit the “Add” button. YOUR SEATS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU SELECT “ADD TO RESERVATION.”
There will be a blue box at the top of your screen confirming your selection. You do not need to take any further action. Simply close your browser and listen to some 80s tunes to get ready for the cruise.
Be sure to check out this totally tubular video from your Cruise Director, JT Watters, that explains how quick and easy it is to select your reserved seats!
